Sorry it's been a while, but internet access ain't great. I will catch you up with the last week in Siem Reap in a couple of days, hopefully, meanwhile I'm currently in Bangkok.
You remember we couldn't go overland last Monday? Well the FO lifted their warning on Tuesday! Anyway we flew into Bangkok last night and met the new group, 10 of us in total. We chatted and then went to bed. This morning we went to the Royal Temple and Palace. We're in a different hotel from the one we should be which is quite a way from the centre. We're now waiting to catch a bus to our next destination - it should have been an overnight train, but they're not running, so we have an overnight bus instead - oh joy. We're off to a rain forest tomorrow for a couple of days and we should get to ride an elephant tomorrow! There's a long trek on Wednesday which I have already decided not to go on, so I might actually get a lie in and internet access to myself!
