Preparations!

It's amazing what incentive can do for work.  I've been sat at the computer this week working like Carrie Bradshaw on speed!  Not only did I complete my article for Amateur Stage Magazine that's due in tomorrow, but I have also written six more articles.  The only one left to write is half way done and isn't due to be submitted until the 15th of April after I get back.  So in reality I could just leave it!  But I'm on such a roll that it will get completed tomorrow and I know that I shall feel so good about it!

The amdram.co.uk website is loaded with so many articles is groaning under the weight.  They are all in the scheduled section and will appear in the drafts when they are ready to be added to the site.

So tomorrow's plan is to walk to the doctors for my travel injections.  See Tawa and Livia who are popping in to say hello, then wait in all day for the Sky man to install my Sky + box.  Then series record here I come.  Whilst waiting I shall finish said article above and then get down to finishing my block of the month quilt for the Traditional Quilt Group of the Quilters' Guild of the British Isles.  Okay so I can't really sew at the moment, but I can write instructions and leave spaces for photos to be inserted and I can also calculate the fabric usage.

As I've been writing I've realised that this blog doesn't necessarily have to be about my travels, although obviously that will be a great part of it.  I think I might get this up and running before I start travelling.  Let's hope I get more followers - it's a bit lonely at the moment ;)
