Realised that I've spent the last few days talking to myself! Come back Lucy and Lee all is forgiven!
Was very disappointed with The Madness of King George at the Theatre Royal Monday night, I'm hoping at some point that Kathy will fill me in on the second half ... yup left in the interval. It didn't work on so many different levels. The guy playing the King was great, but everyone else was overacting and it was so pantoesque I found it painful.
Tuesday was steak night and a late night jaunt to The Wheel for me and Adam. Interesting is all I shall say. Back there tomorrow night - we'll see what happens!
Wednesday was miserable. I broke a tooth in Spain in July on a piece of bread - yes I know! I think (and my dentist agrees) that it was damaged in the accident - something else to add to the claim. Any way I went back to have it sorted and having had xrays the week before he found a hole as well. Decided to do one and then the other later - glad I did. It was miserable. He's re-built my tooth - they have the technology, but there was loads of drilling and it certainly isn't the prettiest thing, but I guess it's better than the hole that was there before. I might start smiling again.
At the moment (Thursday) I'm working on getting the quilt finished for the Traditional Quilt Group. I have made the quilt, but now I'm having to make it again and write the instructions as well. I did cut all the pieces out before the shoulder op, but it's difficult working on the sewing machine without moving my shoulder. I'm working on the assumption that as it's nearly 6 weeks and the sling can come off, I can't really damage it again!
