Had a great meal on Saturday night. One of Nick's crispy duck with pancakes and ho-sin sauce - has the be the best I've ever tasted and I include the one in Beijing in that statement. Have heard from Lucy and Lee and they are now in Hong Kong - now that's somewhere I've never been. Hint to anyone travelling in that direction and wants company :)
Having to really get stuck in and sort things out. Mum and Dad's place needs carpets and a new consumer unit (something to do with electricity) so need to get that done so that I can rent the place again and start getting some money to pay for this trip!
Going to Suffolk to meet Agnes tomorrow lunch time. This is the lady who wrote for Curtain Call for me for years under the pen name of the Hart, if anyone remembers, or even read the magazine ;) She was also at my Vintage Grad Party for those that were there.
The quilt is going great. Working on the last block at the moment and then just have to make and add the borders and binding and write the instructions for those - it will be ready!
And can I just remind people that I'm recording Strictly for Lucy and I for when we get back - trying really hard not to know who's in and out at the moment, so please don't tell me if you see me! We're going to have a Strictly day and fast forward past the boring stuff - anyone interested?
