Last night had a lovely meal and a few drinks and no exploding Christmas presents. I forgot to mention the new Prada handbag I bought in Fake Street. Never thought I was a Prada girl, but this I just had to have, oh and a Pandora bracelet as well. Just using up the last of my money before we hit expensive Singapore.
Then things all went a bit Pete Tong! It took the restaurant 40 mins and three attempts to get me the bill and then we find out that Paul our Malaysia tour guide got arrested and so did PA by association. He only just made it to the meeting point in time. People were unhappy to say the least. Overnight trip on the train to Singapore and the a couple of hours kip before a tour in the afternoon. The photos below are the night train and the view from the window.
Oh and please remember there will be typos in these posts as I'm typing them all with one finger on my phone.
So after a sleep and lunch we met our Singapore Guide ~ complete nutter, bursts into song at the drop of a hat! Great coach tour of the city, including the orchid gardens, Little India, the Muslim district and the famous Raffles Hotel. There's the most amazing building here that looks like a boat on top of three towers. The photo is on the camera so you'll have to see it another time and take my word for it.
In the evening we went out with PA and had a Hong Kong meal and then a glass of wine in an Irish bar. Prices here are very expensive compared to where we have been. And finally the view from the window.
